The purpose of the Miami Beach community satisfaction survey was to get a real measure of the city’s current level of service and to create a benchmark for tracking changes over the next five years. Because of the diligent efforts of Miami Beach ’s political leadership, the benchmark is already set high.
Driven by Miami Beach City Manager Jorge Gonzalez, the survey of residents, businesses and community organizations concluded that Miami Beach rated very well for its overall quality of life, with a majority of respondents viewing the city as an “excellent or good place to live”.
